چکیده
Since the emergence of problem nuclear waste conditioning, cementation has become an important and developing part management system, owing to its simplicity versatility. The continued development technique is driven by improvement expansion cementitious materials that are suitable efficient for solidification. Advances in cement theory technology have significantly impacted improvements technology, quality fresh hardened forms, loading rates, reliability sustainability industry. Modern mineral matrices immobilization a broad class with diverse chemical–mineralogical compositions, high encapsulation capacities, technological engineering performance. These include not only traditional Portland cement, but also non-Portland clinker inorganic binders. This review focuses on recent trends achievements calcium aluminate, sulfoaluminate, phosphate, magnesium silicate, alkali-activated cements as stabilization/solidification.

متن کاملSelf-Healing in Cementitious Materials—A Review
Concrete is very sensitive to crack formation. As wide cracks endanger the durability, repair may be required. However, these repair works raise the life-cycle cost of concrete as they are labor intensive and because the structure becomes in disuse during repair. In 1994, C. Dry was the first who proposed the intentional introduction of self-healing properties in concrete. In the following year...
متن کاملRoot End Filling Materials and Recent Advances: a Review
INTRODUCTION A mandatory requirement of root canal therapy is that the obturation and restoration of the tooth must seal the root canals both apically and coronally to prevent leakage and percolation of oral fluids and to prevent recontamination of disinfected canals. Apicoectomy (apicectomy/root-end resection) with retrograde obturation is a widely applied procedure in endodontics, when all ef...
متن کاملRecent Advances in Crystal Engineering from Nanoscience Views: A Brief Review
Crystal engineering has recently emerged as a method of choice for the design and construction of organic as well as metal-organic functional materials. Crystal engineering attempts to establish packing trends in whole families of compounds and seeks to establish connections between structure and function. The utility of crystal engineering has also been expanded to the nanoscience and the deve...
متن کاملUsing Different Methods of Nanofabrication as a New Way to Activate Supplementary Cementitious Materials; a Review
Reducing the consumption of cement with simultaneous utilizing waste materials as cement replacement is preferred for reasons of environmental protection. Blended cements consist of different supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), such as fly ash, silica fume, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS), natural pozzolans, etc. These materials should be chemically activated to show effec...
